It's best to use this guide on your desktop browser

The link can also be found in your confirmation emails

or in the support/guides section of our website

Step 1:

Assemble Your Keypad

Refer to the provided illustrations as a guide to affix the baseplate and keyplates to your keypad using the components from the included hardware kit. Once secured, proceed to insert the key switches and keycaps into their designated positions. Complete the assembly by attaching the knob.

NOTE: Don't forget to peel the protective paper layer from your plates BEFORE assembly. Watch out for finger prints!

WARNING: Don't over-tighten your screws. The acrylic is brittle and may crack if excessive force is applied.

Step 2:

Choose Your Firmware Option

Easy: Via

If you're new or seeking a hassle-free way to customize your keypad, "Via" is the perfect choice. Designed with simplicity in mind, Via offers a user-friendly graphical interface that allows for quick and easy remapping of your keypad, both on desktop and web app platforms.

Select the "Via" Button below and follow the guide for installation.

Advanced: QMK

For users who are familiar with, or are looking to learn the QMK Keyboard Firmware.

Select the "QMK" button below and follow the guide on our Github to get started.

Please note: The QMK Configurator is not currently compatible with Rotary encoders, so Keymaps must be written and compiled manually (AKA the old fashioned way).

Step 3:

Customize

No matter which firmware option you choose, it helps to familiarize yourself with the extensive collection of KEYCODEs utilized by QMK and Via.

Every function, from typing a simple character to managing your RGB lighting or toggling between layers, is associated with a unique keycode. These keycodes are the building blocks for tailoring your keypad's functionality to match your exact preferences.

For a complete list of keycodes, click HERE. This will help give you the insights you need to fully customize your keypad experience.
NOTE: You will see on the list that certain keycodes will only work on specific operating systems.
